Isla Verde Beach has been certified as a 'blue flag' beach. The blue Flag Program, initiated in Europe in 1987 has been updated for the Caribbean.
Blue Flag Beach is a voluntary program that has proven to be a very effective strategy to guarantee the best quality in beach services, maintenance and safety. Isla Verde Beach is one of the first beaches in Puerto Rico to be certified as a Blue Flag Beach and is located just a few steps from our front door!
